The train station is located @ 340 South 600 West, Salt Lake City. Here is the link. It says there is parking, but I'm not sure how that's going to work, etc. so if somebody has time to drive by there tomorrow it might be a good idea. We won't be driving through Salt Lake when we come through, so can't check. Otherwise, I'll see if I can call. :)

PS - checked the train tonight and it was ON TIME. It leaves NV about 10:00 p.m. so if it's on time then, it'll probably be on time coming into SLC. If it loses time, it's usually in NV. It arrives in the station at 3:45 a.m. and then we depart at 4:10.

Doesn't look like tons of parking and that's not a great neighborhood for long term parking. I'm sure they have video surveillance, but it might be better to shuttle in from somewhere else.

Isn't this right by Gateway? I called Amtrak this morning and they said there IS long-term parking. You just get a permit from the ticket agent (free) and put it in your car. :)

Sounds good. It is the same station where TRAX & Front-Runner and Greyhound stop.
